Aero Lamp

Custom commissioned vintage aircraft inspired desk lamp. The lamp is a 3-sided, external seam style base made of sheet steel with “engine turned” finish and strengthened via multiple sizes of dimple die holes. The base is put together with hand bucked solid aluminum rivets. The lampshade is made from factory punched mesh sheet with hand bead rolled support collar welded to hand formed shade frame. The shade is removable from the base. For the electrical, we incorporated a solid steel toggle switch and vintage looking but modern performing Edison style LED light bulb. The solid metal construction along with the positive locking toggle switch and warm Edison style bulb make for the perfect throwback atmosphere; back to a time when things were made to last.
